Pacific Adventist University Campus Clinic health facility is located right inside the beautiful Koiari Park Campus, at 14 mile in Port Moresby. It’s located within the School of Health Sciences and offers decent basic clinic services to the faculty staff, PAU staff and student community and people from the surrounding communities.
Types of clinic services at PAU Clinic
The PAU clinic offers the following services
- General Outpatient
- Antenatal Clinic pregnant mothers
Clinic Staff
The clinic is staffed by the head sister who oversees the daily operations and assisted by couple of female and male nurses. In peak times, or during certain events the nursing students assist.
During the weekends and nights there is a on-call or duty nurse who is on standby for any emergency cases to serve faculty staff, staff community and boarding students for emergency cases.
PAU Clinic setting
The setting of PAU clinic is much more open spacious than any clinic in the city. Patients who come in the vehicles are allowed to park and use the School of Health Sciences car parking lot. The outpatient is out in the open air under the shelters making it ideal for patients to relax while waiting to be serve. For those who need, cold water can use the School of Business (SOB) public outdoor water cooler located the basement of the building. School of Business is just next to the Clinic.
There is also lots of tree shades and an outdoor shade building all close to the clinic so patients and care takers who come for services take cover from the Port Moresby’s hot sun.
Access to PAU Clinic
To access the PAU Clinic, visitors who are new the campus can ask for directions from the Security staff at the main entrance or follow the signage signs. School of Health Sciences facilities where the clinic hosted are close to the main Koiari Park English Church building and opposite. And close to the School of Business (SOB) building.
Also, basic standard outpatient clinic fees are apply. Patients can also buy clinic books for adult or children in the event they did not bring their clinic books.
PAU Clinic Opening Hours
PAU Clinic is open from 8:30-4:00 pm (Monday to Thursdays) and 8:30-12:00 midday on Fridays.
Closed on Weekends and public holidays.
